Why hunting is bad.
Hunting is not good for the environment and endangered species. Sometimes inexperienced hunters mistake a species that is ok to hunt with an endangered species. An example of this in New Zealand is Takahe, which are an endangered species being mistaken for pukeko and accidentally killed. Trophy hunting is also a big problem. Trophy hunting is when hunters go to places like africa and hunt big game animals like lions, tigers and giraffe. This is a problem because soon these animals are going to go extinct if we carry on like this. An example of this is the white rhino. It was hunted to nearly extinction by trophy hunters because they want their tusks for ivory. Now there's only three left. This is why hunting has a negative impact on endangered species.
Hunting is also bad for the nature. Hunters can also destroy animals habitats because they run and drive over the animals homes and that will kill them. Hunting is also bad because if an animal becomes extinct then the animals that survive by eating that animal will either have to suffer and eat other animals or they will not survive. If we hunt too much and wipe out lots of animal species, then it will be harder to find and hunt more animals. An example of this is the Snail Kite bird which nearly always eats snails but if we keep trampling over their habitats then the Snail Kites will not have very much to eat. This is why hunting is not good for the environment.
